In January, Puma held a product launch of their new Puma Future 18.1 football boot. The event was held at the Ambika P3, a contemporary art and architecture venue that has an industrial feel. The space was transformed with lighting, projection, a miniature football pitch and LED screen scoreboards to create an immersive underground vault. The 500-strong crowd of football loving teens, social media icons and industry special guests, including professional international footballers Mario Balotelli and Marko Arnautovic, were able to take part in a 2v2 football tournament as well as having the use of two skills areas. Throughout the day the guests were entertained by Charlie Sloth and DJ Jonesy who also awarded trophies after the tournament. Special guests MHD and rap duo Krept and Konan put on a fantastic performance to finish the evening off in style.
ArtAV helped create the immersive space in the vault using our Panasonic PT-DZ21K and Barco F90-4K13 laser projectors to show media directly onto the walls, creating a standout feature in the venue. We also provided our 84” and 55” Panasonic LED screens to be used as score and information boards. An interesting thing about the space was as it was underground, all of the equipment had to be lowered in with a winch.
