Falling Light was an immersive art installation designed by the studio Flat-e with original music by electronic musician Daniel Avery for the Leeds International Festival. Illuminating the spectacular Leeds Corn Shed, ArtAV provided five Epson EB-L1505U 12k WUXGA Laser Projectors and short throw lenses along with one of our Disguise D3 media servers to projection map onto a translucent horizontal screen floating above, inviting the viewer to gaze upwards and contemplate the idea of light emerging from darkness.
It was a unique spectacle held over two nights that placed the audience within the performance as light falls onto their bodies, making them part of the work.
